About the Founder - Glendy
I’ve had a love for cooking since middle school. As a young girl, I’d get into the kitchen and make homemade bread, pies, cookies, or anything else we had the ingredients for! And, I have to say, as I’ve gotten older, cooking’s moved beyond a love into “obsession” territory…but hey, nobody gets hurt, and everyone eats well… ;)
I’ve always enjoyed salsa and chow chow (the spicy sweet relish from Pennsylvania Dutch country), or anything hot and sweet for that matter. I started trying new recipes using all kinds of peppers, but truth be known, pepper jellies have been my thing for years. Well, all the experimentation paid off with something pretty wonderful. All my family and friends loved this latest promising concoction, and started asking for jars! And that was the beginning of Jalopy Jelly Peppers. Give it a try. I’m sure you’ll love it as much as we do.
